Submission Criteria
Papers should be submitted by April 1, 2010 by e-mailing the manuscript as an attachment in a Word (.doc) format to wgouine1 @ mac.com with subject line “Expeditious Submission”. The document must include the following information and meet the following requirements:
Title The title should describe the focus of the essay.
Preferred Author Name Please indicate how you would like your name to appear in the program. Contact info should be included here.
Abstract The author should also submit an abstract. (A 50-100 word summary that gives an overview of the article.)
Format Expeditious follows the Modern Language Association (mla.org) publishing format.
Bibliography If works, including those of J.K. Rowling, are cited, essays must have a bibliography attached.
Please note: Expeditious and the Fifth House (HPCARG) takes academic honesty (ie plagiarism) very seriously. Any outside sources, including canon, must be credited and cited using MLA formatting. (see mla.org) Every effort will be used to defend the intellectual rights of authors.
